BREAKING NEWS : Iris Villalon, one of four #Mississippi managers involved with food processing plants raided by @ICEgov back in Aug. of 2019 has pled guilty to knowingly hiring & harboring undocumented immigrants for financial gains of A&B inc. in Pelahatchie from 2011-2019.
Villalon was the head of payroll company “Southern Knights Industrial Services” in Brandon who contracted with A&B inc. to manage paying & hiring workers for this meat processing plant. Prosecutors found for multiple undocumented workers she falsified documents for them.
For every employee hired to A&B inc. Southern Knights & Villalon would receive 15% of what their salary was. Prosecutors pointed to the more people brought on the more money she would get. Villalon cannot appeal this specific ruling as part of the plea deal.
